To get started ...

It has occurred to me that the things on which I pride myself the most are being a loving mother who expects a lot out of her children, my devotion to my husband and my management of our personal expenses. That is not to say that I'm perfect at any of those things. I am doing pretty well but I could use some direction. I am consistently shocked when I see people spend their money on things that I know personally they cannot afford. Let's help each other out. Let's be the voice of reason for each other. I'm dying for a new minivan but there's no way I'm going out and buying one when my 2003 Honda Pilot is working just fine. Capiche?
